Diana is a data junkie. Starting with her tenure at MicroStrategy, a leading business intelligence platform, she has sharpened her focus over the years to working with health care data. Appreciative of how claims and treatment data can generate insights into improving patient outcomes, Diana sees the value of using data science techniques and practices to deliver value and meaning to Sentier’s customers.
Diana’s professional journey after MicroStrategy took her to Boston, where she led data management and governance practices at Harvard University, UMass-Lowell, the University of Maryland, and most recently Healthcore. At Healthcore, Diana worked to unlock the nascent promises of big data technologies and advanced analytics. Her efforts there centered on creating innovative approaches to ensuring data quality in EMR data sources, specifically with identifying patterns in clinical records.
Diana received her undergraduate degree in Computer Science from the Tecnológico de Monterrey in Monterrey, Mexico. She has a Masters in Information and Data Science at The UC Berkeley School of Information Management.
